Jacqueline Janas– Secretaire Bilingue

Jacqueline Janas is a grade 12 student at Westdale Secondary School in the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board.  She is a consistent honour roll student in the French Immersion and English IB programs.  Jacqueline enjoys a variety of extra-curriculars including singing, acting, dancing, public speaking and swimming. 

Her interest in public service began in grade 7 when she served as a Legislative Page.  Most recently, Jacqueline participated at Forum for Young Canadians in Ottawa.  She is also a dedicated volunteer of close to 10 years with Westifield Heritage Village, the Canadian Cancer Society and many other organizations within her community.

Jacqueline is honoured to be serving as a Student Trustee for her board and as Bilingual Secretary for OSTA-AECO.  She looks forward to advocating on behalf of students and is excited to work with the rest of the executive team on behalf of the students of Ontario.
