Conferences

Each year, the association holds three annual conferences, which also serve as the organization's General Meetings, to give professional development to student trustees, allow for networking opportunities between students and prominent individuals in education and to provide a forum for the student vision.

• The Fall General Meeting (FGM) takes place in October in Toronto.
• The Board Council Conferences (BCCs) take place in February in Ottawa.
• The Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place in May in Toronto.

We're now preparing for our upcoming Board Council Conferences (BCCs) in Ottawa at the Westin Hotel from February 9th-12th, 2012.

OSTA-AECO's Annual General meeting (AGM) will take place in Toronto from May 24th to 27th, 2012.

OSTA-AECO is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all members. As a result, all student trustee attendees are required to sign and return a Code of Conduct during registration. Failure to comply to the items listed in the agreement will result in the immediate contact of the student trustee's Director of Education and/or parent or guardian.

All of OSTA-AECO's conferences are supervised by adults from the association's Alumni Network, who serve in accordance with strict supervision procedures.
