Policy Committee

The Policy Committee is chaired by the Policy Officer and works to formalize OSTA-AECO's vision through position papers and research reports. The committee consults widely with students to ensure that the student voice is recognized throughout the education community. The committee is also charged with leading annual reviews of the association's constitution and administrative procedures.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is chaired by the Communications Officer and works to articulate the association's vision for students through press releases, media relations, publicity campaigns, and the association's two publications - Our Voice and the OSTA-AECO Echo. Our Voice is a student trustee magazine that addresses topics that impact students and their education, while the Echo is a quarterly newsletter.This team works to frame discussions on how to improve education and engage students.

Alumni Network

The Alumni Network works to support the work of the association, providing advice through the "Ask an Alumnus" programme and through fundraising and other collaboration with current student trustees.
