Kayla Gray is a first-year Student Trustee from Trillium Lakelands District School Board and is Chief Financial Officer of OSTA-AECO. Her passion for health and wellness has led her to work with the Ministry of Health Promotions Healthy Schools Working Table and her school board’s Nutrition Committee regarding the nutrition standards implemented in all high schools across Ontario. She is currently working with Student Vote on behalf of OSTA-AECO to promote democratic participation in Ontario’s youth.
Kayla is founding President of Our Second Hand, a NPO devoted to the development of youth in Muskoka through numerous charity events and leadership conferences. She is a leader counsellor at the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre where she worked closely over the summer with the Minister’s Student Advisory Council as well as visually impaired, deaf and at-risk youth through numerous student forums. She is the Student Columnist of her town’s premier newspaper, The Huntsville Forester, and was awarded the ‘Youth Excellence Award for Outstanding Community Service’ as well as being named the first-ever ‘Youth of the Year’ by the Huntsville Municipality Town Council. |

| Kayla is devoted to an active gluten-free lifestyle and enjoys lacrosse, hockey and triathlons. She plans to pursue medicine and eventually become a specialised surgeon. | |
